I would appreciate some help on how to output error messages exactly on top of the page after it's loaded,
not in between tags like head or title. I guess default PHP error handler should be extended ... |

There is good and bad news.
It happens on Windows build of PHP and doesn't happen on UNIX.
But if I use raw php date("N") instead of smarty.now %u, it works on both environments.
