I am running PHP 5(.2.5) ... and the version of strftime is 5.1.0. The documentation of the function does indeed say that "%l" is supported, however, it doesn't seem to be. |

Yes, that's the point of the modifier ... the "%l" does not work. ...at least not in my version (2.6.14). Is this patched in the current version? |

Keep in mind that letters embedded into images pose accessibility issues that should be dealt with. For instance, a link to "pronounce" the embedded letters could work around this.
