Yeah, could see it causing trouble for people using svn. Of course in this instance smarty didn't have privileges for it, so it didn't matter |

ah very nice... drove me nuts, especially when i used smarty vars in the js, had literal tags everywhere |

When testing out the smarty alpha, it seems clear_compiled_tpl wants to wipe everything in the entire compile dir... which isn't the functionality of smarty 2.
In this instance my project is in svn ... |

In smarty3 can we look into dropping this for javascript blocks? Wouldn't it make sense to automatically literal out anything between <script> tags? |

How close per say? Last news said in a "few more weeks" but that was Dec 2
