I actually believe that's a new error because in the start we had

/public_html/smarty/CustomSmarty.php

And not

PHP Fatal error: Class 'Smarty' not found in /home/USERNAME/public_h ...

I feel really stupid lol.

Hi U.tews, you were right. I did not specify any timezone in my php.ini file. I added a location. Here is the code I added:

[Date]
; Defines the default timezone used by the date funct ...

That did the trick. It worked! Thanks a ton but there's another problem.

In which folder is CustomSmarty.php file located?

It's in public_html/smarty/

The path to customsmarty.php file is public_html/smarty/customsmarty.php
