I recently switched from Smarty 3.0.4 to version 3.1.12 and now all my templates seem to fail.
In my template if have a statement like this:
{if $item.file} ... {/if}

I just replaced Smarty3.0-rc3 with Smarty-3.0.4 and now my project's pages won't render: I'm staring at a white screen.

I agree, and definitely for the initial 3.0 release I would recommend to keep things as simple and clean as possible. |
