The smarty method _get_auto_filename() returns a wrong filename if $use_sub_dirs is set to false. The returned filename lacks one ^ sign at the beginning.
This e.g. lets the is_cached() function always return false. A workaround is to set $use_sub_dirs to true again, like in previous smarty versions.
Maybe some versions are important here:
php5 rc2 / apache2
smarty 2.6.2
sorry for my bad english x_O |

i cannot reproduce that.
_get_auto_filename() produces fine filenames for me.
since _get_auto_filename() is used to genereate names for writing *and* for reading the cached file, is_cached() would even work it was missing a character (which it doesn't) . |
