|
|
Hi
Were just using smarty in our cms Postnuke and i have got a message from our devs that smarty errors come with a file and a complete path.
It just would be nice if smarty would be packaged in a way where we can be sure that the smarty component in our system does not add a path disclosure to our code.
Maybe this is wanted behaviour, thats why i am not posting to the bugs forum.

Hi.
Perhaps consider using a custom error handler (via set_error_handler) to catch all errors and handle/rewrite them at your discretion? As a library, I think it is useful that Smarty provides paths on triggered errors. |
