Wie Objekte übergeben?

Hallo in einem Template wird folgendes Objekt ausgerufen:

[{ $basket->fprice }]

kann dieses nun irgendwie an den PHP-Tag übergeben werden?

Order alterntive daraus eine Varibale machen die ich smarty weiter verarbeiten kann?
(Das Objekt enthält den Gesamtpreis, würde gerne damit 2-3 simple weitere Rechnungen durchführen lassen)

du kannst auch im Template simple berechnungen durchführen
