PHP|Architect is an online magazine, so you would have to subscribe to read (and to get the code bundle which comes with the magazine detailing the example).

The example application presents a modified version of the Phrame "hello" example. The primary modification is to use Smarty Very Happy instead of XSLT Crying or Very sad in the View portion of the system.

This is a pretty simple implementation of Smarty, but stay tuned, next months article has a much more robust application and make more extensive use of Smarty template logic.
