Hi all.

I am looking for some links to benchmarks that compare PHP5 to PHP4 using "real-world applications" and if possible Smarty. All the synthetics I have seen have seemed to indicate better performance for PHP5 than PHP4, but my very adhoc tests (using PHP 5.02, 4.3.9) using a small in-house Smarty app (developed for PHP 4.3) tell a very different story. The performance is so wildly different (PHP5 is about 40% slower or worse) that I can't trust my setup and am looking for some rigorous testing that others have done.
