Would it be possible to change the way the TOCs are in the documentation. Currently there is a simple TOC in the beginning and a TOC at the start of every chapter.

I download the PDF and print it out. I would like to request that the docs be laid out more like a book. That is, with a detailed TOC at the beginning of the document. This would make it a whole lot easier to look stuff up for us folks that keep a printed copy of the documentation on hand. Either that or an index page at the back so I can look up terms quickly.

Anyway, just a suggestion...

Robert

Are you referring to this TOC:

http://smarty.php.net/manual/en/

It looks like it is broken down pretty well (?)

If you look at the PDF for 2.6.7 the online TOC is not included. It is a simplified TOC.

A fix has been committed to CVS (thanks Nuno). Future versions of the PDF docs will have a deeper TOC.
