hi,

is it possible that i can assign a variable (lets call it {$Path} ) only 1 time ?
$path should contain an config value from my config file (like 'http://www.yoursite.com/your_installfolder/templates/current_template/...."

normaly i have to assign it to each template, but is there a solution where i can define those vars "global" to the template engine ?

if you use $smarty->get_config_vars your variable is global ... look at the FAQ for details
