totally off-topic: i am not that deep forums and their etiquette. should i edit typos i see in my postings after they are submitted (yes i use preview, but sometimes... grmpf), or is this disencouraged? i mean things like "post" which should have read "posts" obviously. should i indicate my dorkiness on such slight modifications, or can i do them secretly and indicate just major changes? or should i see this more like fire-and-forget as the mailing-list and keep it as is? |

I figure, they are your posts, so why not edit them if you see fit. I certainly favour code corrections
Of course, no one will know if you edited unless they decide to re-read and perhaps if you indicated such.
I think it sometimes hard to get it right when typing into this *ahem* editor window--especially when I'm used to the sprawling expanse of my normal editor(s).
I haven't found your post at all dorky, spilling erors ornot !

I guess that's up to everybody's personal preference. I usually don't correct typos... but sometimes you suddenly get an idea or something which would have been fit into the posting you just wrote, so you go and edit it, but the usual procedure is to mark the edited part with -edit- or sth. and then put the new text below. phpBB doesn't mark edited posts anyways, but in forums where you have something like "this post has been edited 2 times, last time on 2003-04-25 11:24pm by John Wayne" it's practical to avoid editing if it's not necessary (i.e. when you have only typos or sth) because other board visitors read it and probably get confused |

Hi,
All of yous go deep.
I hate to have comments in on endmost code.
And I know how to touch the code, but next version will be again clear from my changes.
