I had a social networking site built in PHP utilizing Smarty templates. The site is currently in beta and is being tested. I would like to find a freelance PHP programmer more local to me in the U.S.A. to add new functionality and improve the user experience (such as the site is currently very slow). The site is complicated and does contain blogs, chat rooms and forums, so I am looking for someone that has worked on these types of projects before.

Please contact me with sample urls and your hourly rate.
