Compressing HTML output is a better idea. Even though described in SEO articles to write beautifully formatted html output, it is not needed compulsorily. Instead, we can save rendering html out faster with lesser html output.
{strip} and {/strip} tags aid a lot. However, I looked into the compiled file of the corresponding output that everything inside {strip} tag is written with php's echo, including the templates and other formatting.
Will it be possible to produce a complied output, in a normal way, and by simply removing the spaces around, to strip out?
If you did not understand this scene well, please look into the compiled output by using and not using {strip} tags. |

You can use the "trimwhitespace" output filter that comes with Smarty to trim things up. Beyond that, you should let PHP or Apache (gzip) compress your text before sending to the browser. |
