I think the ONLY free php accelerator available for windows is the amazing turck mmcache which is a cross-platform wonder, IMHO.
As a bonus, it has a great API so that you can exploit its memory cache functionality from your app. It also has built in wrappers for PHP's serialize function, if that floats your boat.
Finally, andre recently wrote a very nifty Smarty cache handler that uses mmcache (actually, that whole thread is quite interesting.) |
