Good day!
Will Smarty 2 function-style plugins (modifiers, functions etc) be suported in future versions? They are supported in Smarty 3 too, but maybe new OO plugins have some benefits? |

Yes, Smarty 2 style plugins will always be supported. OO plugins execute as a matter of fact a bit slower.
A OO plugin can make sense for compiler plugins if they want to make use of some methods of the internal compiler. |
