I have no problems with Smarty 2, but each Smarty 3 release display error right after installation  For example, default demo script http://MY_SITE/Smarty-3.0.6/demo/ display this:

Apache 2.0, PHP Version 5.2.14
I'm sure that my server not fully configured for smarty 3, because I've no problems with this smarty3 package on another hosting. But I don't know what is missing. |

Looks like that file smarty_internal_compile_private_print_expression.php can't be read from the .../libs/sysplugins folder.
Maybe this folder is incomplete or you have permission problems. |

Unbelievable ! I unpacked archive directly on the server, set 777 to templates_c and... it works!  Thanks a lot! |
