OK, I've got a contact page that I need to change and if I even just look at it wrong I get this error:
Fatal error: Smarty error: [in contact_information.html line 48]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: $"code (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 446) in /home/quickban/public_html/smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1093
I have a client that has asked me to build him a portal website and the layout is exactly the same. The only thing I need to change on this page is the website name:
http://quickloan123.net/index.php?page=contact_information&form=n
If I change the JUST the font from Quickloan123 to Quickbankruptcy, I get the error. If I do anything at ALL with this page, even add a space, I get the error. So therefore, I cannot change this at all and it's driving me nuts to as why. Keep in mind I am editing the template in the TPL folder. Do I need to do something else with the contact_information.php?
Any ideas? Am I missing something? Do I need to change something in the
Does anyone have any idea at all what in the world is Smarty's problem? |

could you post the contents of contact_information.html?
Also, you are editing it with a text editor not a word processor correct? |

You helped me and gave me an idea. I was using an editor - Coffeecup and forgot I need to edit these with Notepad++
I made change changes in Notepadd++ and uploaded it and It's fine now.
You know I hate these WYSIWYG editors and the problems they cause sometimes.
Apparently when you use these editors they add syntax that you don't notice or see.
Thanks lots for the spark of genius. |
