I don't know about Smarty much, so somebody please list out steps to add jquery slider code to smarty index page and also specify where i have to make what changes.

Where you make the changes is totally dependent on your project, and how the files are organized.
You add it to the template file same as you would add it to an html file, except you may need to add {literal} {/literal} around it because it's javascript and has curly braces.
Since this isn't a jQuery forum, and I don't know much about jquery sliders, I can't tell you anything about how to code them. |
