|
|
Hello!
I've successfully updated to smarty 3.1.7.
Site works fine, but my IDE found php parse error at /sysplugins/smarty_internal_templateparser.php - line 2302
>>
$this->_retvalue = new _smarty_text($this, self::escape_start_tag());
(in utf8)
>>
$this->_retvalue = new _smarty_text($this, self::escape_start_tag(ö));
(in ISO-8859-1)
So, I guess, it is just type mismatch?
Probably quotes are missing there?
Also, I'm very interested which encoding does smarty files using?
I was sure that utf-8.
Thanks. |

Thanks for bringing this up.
The problem was caused by a typo.
The Smarty source files don't use UTF-8 encoding.
The typo is now fixed in the SVN trunk version. It will be later included in 3.1.8 |
