|
|
Hello,
I have never seen Smarty before yesterday. I inherited an app that needs to be moved. Moved to a new server. Had issues with DB connection (MySQL via PEAR), but conquered that (I believe) but now have an issue I cannot seem to overcome:
If I go to index.php I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function createTemplate() on a non-object in /home/solidwhi/public_html/bthera/tracker/include/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php on line 47
Any help would be appreciated. |

Are you sure that Smarty was installed correctly on the new server?
This is a strange error message which should not happen. |

I just moved files over. I guess I assumed it was similar to Joomla or other CMS. |

Smarty 3 requires at least PHP 5.2.
Is it possible that yor new Server is still on PHP 4? |

make sure you clear compiled templates (usually in templates_c dir) and cache files (in cache dir) |

Yes, those are cleared.
I think the error I am seeing is saying that a parent constructor is not being called. Could it be my config is all screwed up? |
