Hallo alle miteinander!

Ich habe folgendes Problem:

Ich hole aus meiner Datenbank Werte in ein Array mit Umaluten, dieses möchte ich dann als DropDown-Liste mit der Smarty-Funktion {html_options} anzeigen, dies klappt auch sehr gut, bis auf die Werte die einen Umlaut enthalten, diese werden einfach komplett ausgeblendet(der gesamte Datensatz nicht nur der Umlaut).

Datenbank sowie Einstellungen und Dateien sind UTF-8 kodiert...

Kann mir jemand helfen?

Bei der Verwendung von "html_options" durchlaufen die Strings htmlspecialchars(). Diese Funktion kann bei einem falschen charset einen leeren String zurückliefern.

Vermutlich ist Smarty::$_CHARSET falsch aufgesetzt.

Vielleicht hilft Dir mb-detect-encoding um den verwendeten Charset zu identifiziren.
