|

Hello,
I'm new to a MVC itself, just had a chance to try both Smarty and DooPHP separately. DooPHP is a MVC-based PHP framework and Smarty is a template engine, therefore Smarty should be integratable inside Doo. The problem is, Smarty seems to have a different way of integration in every PHP framework, and DooPHP isn't really a popular framework - it doesn't have much of a documentation. And unsurprisingly I couldn't find a single example of Smarty or any other template engine integration with Doo.
I was wondering if somebody have tried putting those two together, or have any ideas of what should be done in this case.
Appreciated. |

If there's such a scarcity of documentation on the framework you're using, you might have better luck reading Smarty documentation first.
The base of Smarty engine is Smarty::display method. And Smarty::assign (which is quite flexible) for passing down the data.
P.S.
In my experience, poorly documented frameworks aren't going to work well. |
