|
|
I can do this with php, but I'm lost when applied to smarty. Found some threads regarding this but nothing seems to work.
Here's my example in Prestashop..
in my php controller file(assume it is in the controller class):
public function initForm()
{
$data->assign('sum', $this->getSum($num1,$num2));
....
}
public function getSum($num1,$num2)
{
return $num1+$num2
}
In my template file:
{$sum('5','12')} //Should output 17
How to do it in the template?
In php, you can do it with
<?php
$x = new Controller;
echo $x->getSum('5','12');
?>
Please help! |
