Hi All,

I have a huge headache that no one can seem to resolve. We have an old smarty php website. camping.uk-directory (DOT) com and having trouble upgrading to a new website.

We have tried exporting data to build a site in wordpress. Dramatically failed, so really do not know where to turn.

We have had a number of people look at this and we have got nowhere.

Can you please advise as to how we go about resolving this.

Do you… I don't know… expect us to use our crystal balls to look at the issues with your project?

How would I migrate an old php site to wordpress.

What details would you like?

If you are looking for help with wordpress, you're better off going to wordpress forums.

Have you considered updating smarty and replacing the library files and such to see what happens.

I worked on one site that i was very fearful of the same thing. And yet when i replaced the files to the new smarty, there were only a few issues that we had to fix and now it is running fine on the new smarty.

It cant hurt, you already indicated it sort of blew up one time, just use a copy and try it. You will have a better idea if you try.
