Hi,

I used to use code snippets like

Code:

$proc = popen($cmd, 'r');
echo '<pre>';
while (!feof($proc))
{
    echo fread($proc, 4096);
    @ flush();
}
echo '</pre>';


to display output of CLI commands in real-time.

Now that I'm using smarty, I'm wondering if there is a possibility to do it, as templates need to get compiled before output is presented to the browser. Anybody got an idea how to do it the smarty way?

I'm not entirely sure, what are you trying to do.
And how is CLI and Smarty are merging in your case.
