I inherited a webpage that uses the smarty templates along with php. I have never worked with it before. Someone in the organization noticed that one of the pages is showing some 'code'. Well at the top of the webpage you see this:
{config_load file='default.conf'}
That is strange. But no matter how I change it, it shows up. It is a php file and here is the beginning block of code that that is in:
<!doctype html>
<html><!-- InstanceBegin template="../../Templates/Default-Smarty.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->
<head>
{config_load file='default.conf'}
</head>
Do you guys have any suggestions?

Why you are not reading documentation?
{config_load} is a valid stanza.
If it is not processed for you, check your Smarty installation, if it is corrupted/altered.
