Have X-Cart v.4 installation, php updated to 5.5, now getting Smarty error.. anyone else here using X-Cart who's seen this?

What "this"? Can you at least provide the error text?

By "this" I meant X-Cart throwing Smarty errors after php update.. the actual error is
Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "admin/home.tpl" in /homepages/7/,,,,/Smarty-2.6.19/Smarty.class.php on line 1092

I'm hoping that another X-Cart user had solved this.. I've applied X-Cart's patches, but no success so far.

Your Smarty 2 version is too old for PHP 5.5

I figured that, but would hope that the "patches" updated Smarty.. I'm trying to get an answer from X-Cart..

You have to update to X-Cart 4.7

Contains Smarty 3 and all should be done ...

The issue might relate to some custom modification in your X-Cart store.

You have to check the file permissions for the file
modules/gold_display.php

must be the same as for the admin/home.php file.
