Hi,

Here's a diff file to fix the problem of having ".." in a path to templates_c/ dir

If your path is something like this:

/root/server/web/site/public/../templates_c

smarty_core_create_dir_structure() will attempt to create a folder named ".." under "public". Obviously this is wrong.

This http://www.11abacus.com/cvs/smarty/core.create_dir_structure.diff file resolves the problem.
