Is there anyway to pull info from a template and enter it into a DB. Like if a user goes to one page it would say {include header.php title='News'} and then in a php file it would pull the title and place it into the DB so you can track where a user is/has been? |

Hi ThermoDust.
Why not do that in your PHP code prior to invoking your templates?
At anyrate, you can do something very similar with {include_php}; however, you would have to first do something like {assign var="title" value="News"} in your template prior to using {include_php}. You would then access the assigned $title template var using $this->get_template_vars('title').
see: include_php, get_template_vars
