Did you say you extend the default Smarty class on every single page? I don't know if that's a good idea.
Anyway, you can do the following things to make a modifier see the Smarty object:
Make the variable global (that's what U.Tews' modifier works with)
Make your Smarty class a singleton. _________________ Darn computers always do what I tell them to instead of what I want them to do. |
