About 'capitalize' the documentation says:

This is used to capitalize the first letter of all words in a variable. This is similar to the PHP ucfirst() function.
ucfirst() will capitalize only the first character of a string. In the above text 'ucfirst()' should be replaced with ucwords() which is the correct equivalent.
