this is probably pretty basic, but i've tried several different times and ways to download the latest stable release, and based on the installation instructions, i seem to be missing a folder called "core" to be uploaded to the server - containing, i assume, some pretty important files. sorry, i'm new to this, so am i missing something obvious, or is the download corrupted or?

Hi christophe.

It seems that the current documentation is starting to reflect the 2.6.x version of Smarty and "core" was introduced during the 2.6 development process. There is no "core" in the last stable release (2.5.0). Thus, you can safely ignore such needs for 2.5.0 installs.

2.6.0 RC3 was released today. If all goes well, I would expect a full stable release of 2.6.0 in the near future Smile
