I don't think that this is smarty related but this was so bizarr and weird that it took me couple of hours to find what's wrong.

It seems that APC cache (version 2.0b) isn't stable enough. I'm using Smarty in my site. Every page is created from 5 to 10 different templates which are common for most of the pages. Suddently everything started to broke up. PHP gave me random errors on php files (mostly smarty) and templates which smarty loaded got replaced with random php documents from the web server.

I just pressed reload on one page for a dozen time, and every reload gave me different page. The templates got ramdomly mixed up among each other and so on. Wery wery weird. It took me a couple of hours to figure that APC cache could be behind it. I turned it off and everything started to work right after that.

After that I switched to Turck MMCache which seems to work much better =)
