Joined many on the route of Smarty driven Web sites and must say it's a great piece of software! After many years of doing things the "hard way", Smarty has given the power to the design side to make development much easier, faster and more managable to maintain. The additional features such as caching has also inproved the performance of the site, with database calls being eliminated where unneccessary, which especially for a commercially orientated site, is an all important must. Our design site is the next to be ported along with our hosting control panel that's currently being ported to Smarty.

Many more future sites and projects will be developed integrating Smarty now.. great job people! Oh how the open-source community is such a good thing(tm) =)
