|
my host doesn't want the webserver to have anonymous processes (nobody:nobody ownership) therefore they have suggested that i somehow not chown the dir's but get the scripts to run under php/suexec.
i have installed smarty successfully on a windows and linux test servers and now this when it comes to production! has anyone run smarty with suexec or is their a workaround for chowning the dir's magically?
how messy does suexec look?! php scripts using the cgi version?... arrrggh. i would personally suffer anonymous processes rather than this.
regards, ep0d
