|
|
Hi,
First time installed Smarty. Working great. Awesome piece of software!
This will save me soooo much time.
Quick question. When a file is compiled, it has a really weird name. For
example, index.tpl will show up as:
%%45^45E^45E480CD%%index.tpl.php
Is there a reason for the leading characters: %%45^45E^45E480CD%% ?
Can I change it so the file is named as index.tpl.php instead?
Let me know,
Thanks! |

| I don't know if it can be turned off but I think it's good behaviour because it makes files almost impossible to find and therefore can't be run directly by someone from a web browser. Besides, it's good to be able to set up various software tools to ignore compiled templates by using a %%* mask (like svn, editors, etc.) |
