Hi All,

I am about to start a project using Zend framework and Smarty. My clients wants to use some CMS for development of static pages.

My question is, Can I use any third party tool such as any CMS with Smarty.
So that now my Smarty template will contain some block which will be coming from a CMS ?

Thanks in advance, Any help will be helpful.

Thanks & Regards,
- A

Smarty should be integratable with any CMS to handle the presentation layer. The difficulty will largely depend on the CMS itself. (Smarty is not a CMS, it is just a template engine.)

it just depends how easy/hard they make it to integrate the view layer. some cms are very flexible/extendible, some are not.
