Hi, using smarty 2.6.0 in safemode (use_sub_dirs = false) on linux has the problem of throwing php warnings:
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 56986 is not allowed to access /usr/lib/php owned by uid 0 in .../libs/Smarty/core/core.get_include_path.php on line 34
As a workaround i use:
ini_set('error_reporting', 'E_ERROR');
but a catched warning would be nicer. |

i think you have "/usr/lib/php" in your include-path but are not allowed to access it. you should only have components in your include_path you are allowed to access or the above warning will occur. |
