Background:

Running Smarty 3 RC4, all caching turned off in script.

I'm running two sites on one server. Both uses Smarty and a lot of the files are named the same, both templates and config files. Both sites share smarty folders for cache and templates_c.

Problem:

My problem is with the config files. If I have a "product.conf" that's being loaded in site 1 all works fine. But when I try to load site 2 that also uses a conf-file named "product.conf" (not the same conf file though, the sites have their separate config-directories!), Smarty re-uses the other product.conf that it loaded when the page on site 1 was shown. Seems it somehow uses the file that site 1 created in the shared templates_c folder.

With templates I can use different cache-id's between the sites and don't experience any problems. This is of course not available on config files. Is it me or is it Smarty that's doing something wrong here? Is there any other solution than to have different templates_c folders for each site on the server?

The SVN has been updated.
compile_id will now also be used on config files.
