I need your help. We need using ypur engine, but we want, that syntax can in Germany writing. Our client want that possible writing in the html-pages, that applying engine {wenn $variable}. Or for example in oops no { for etc} but {für etc} and for all syntax, than can see an user. Have your engine Smarty standard methods for applying this things?

As a fact we needing translate syntax of smarty commands in germany but wir do not want changing sources

You can use a prefilter to translate the syntax just before the compilation.
