I have a classified site using ilister 5.3. it uses smarty 2.
I would like to upgrade smarty 3, to take advantage of global variables in templates.

Am I going to end up in a disaster if i do this myself, without using the ilister support people.

Or is it an easy upgrade. ?

I'd try it on a test site first, and be sure to look at the upgrade notes.
