Hey forum,
I'm installing a webserver and I've run into a problem with smarty. I use CentOS 5.7 + Tomcat 7.0.22 + Quercus 4.0.18 and Smarty 3.1.5. When I call my script I get the following error:
/website/2011-11-27/includes/smarty/Smarty.class.php:643: Notice: Undefined property: Smarty::$cache_id
/website/2011-11-27/includes/smarty/Smarty.class.php:643: Notice: Undefined property: Smarty::$compile_id
/website/2011-11-27/includes/smarty/Smarty.class.php:643: Notice: Undefined property: Smarty::$parent
I can of course suppress the notices but my page still doesn't show up. I've run the same code with Apache + php and it works fine so I don't know whether to blame Smarty or Quercus.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be welcome (other than don't use Quercus),

Smarty was written for real PHP.
There could be any number of compatibility problems with the Quercus Java based PHP implementation.
Nothing we could do at this time. |
