Hi, I was just looking at the code and I noticed that you never increment $_count in the foreach loop inside compileAllTemplates() in smarty_internal_utility.php. This will result in this function always returning zero, while description says that it should return the number of templates compiled.

The fix is now in the SVN trunk version and will later be included in 3.1.9
