Afternoon,

Sorry to jump on the board but I am trying to learn something and I am not a programmer.

I use CMS Made Simple, I have already asked this question. One of the fellows has a great setup on how to switch out text blocks, and other template elements. I have asked my question of the board and have so far been told to go back and read the post by said fellow.

The problem as I see it, I have dynamic image resizing happening on each page in several places, it is a module for CMSMS, there are several image calls to each image location so the client can update their own images, using pretty much any image they desire. All the client need do is upload the image to the correct folder and then select it. The image resizing will do the rest.

TO boot, my menu is held in a global content block and is not dynamic.

Mobile link.

My site. Not complete

Also I have a jquery footer (not active yet), the will have this hideous arrow that tells the user where they are. Even though they know where they are.

My vision, flawed or otherwise, is to have a new template, using the same content blocks as the Main Template. Only when a mobile comes along they get redirected to he new template. Same info different look.

Granted some of this could be retooled with CSS and layering. I just have no clue how I can retool many of the dynamic elements.

The clients are older, and have no clue what so ever. They just want to update the information. I like CMSMS and want to use it. But am loosing ground to the ASP programmer in the office.

Is there smarty logic that can do what I am looking for? I openly admit that I simply could not understand what I am reading.

Thank you.

David
