We are using a prefilter for translation that works pretty well {tr}.
One point that is still not managed in smarty, so slows down the process is the date format. Each language has its own date format.
I will like to do something like that
{$date|date_format:{tr}"%A, %B %e, %Y"{/tr}}
it doesn't work.
I try too something like that
{$date|date_format:{$my_date_format}}
with a $my_date_format=$smarty->fetch("...")
it doesn't work too
Perhaps, it is only a syntax error.

should work with an assigned $my_date_format. |
