|
|
Hey everyone,
I was creating an command line interface for my app when I discovered that Smarty::compileAllTemplates() is only able to echo HTML data which is not really friendly in a command line interface.
So I started looking how to change this and the only way possible to do this is hard coding it in in the function which is not really a requirement.
So than I thought that maybe this could be implemented in one of the next versions of Smarty.
So give your feedback or another idea on how to do this.

Ps. I already tried Output Buffering Control but than you loose the live feeling. |

I'm not sure this should output anything, it should compile templates into the compile directory. Does it not do that? What does the stdout look like? |

compileAllTemplates does output a log which templates get compiled. It does output '<br>' to control linebreak.
So adding '\n' should help.
I will put it on the todo list. |
