| A while ago I heard of an awesome news about Smarty 3.2 and PHP 5.3 features such as namespace, but it looks like nothing is being done. I am fearing that Smarty 3.1.13 is the last release of this software? If not, can anyone of you give me an expected release date for the next version? |

| I'm working in the background on 3.2. Because of personal workload it takes a bit longer as originally estimated. I think an alpha version should be available in 8 -12 weeks. |

I see, sounds interesting. I am also working on a software myself, the next major version will be released around August to October and it will have namespace. For this reason I am really intrigued by Smarty 3.2's namespace plan too, I believe it will help my own application too. I wish you guys good luck, Smarty has been great for my software so far. |
