Hi,

I just received an email that my server does not support php version 4 any more, and I need to migrate website to php version 5.4.

Did anyone do this, is there a script to do this, and is there a lot of code to be changed if done manually.

Many thanks

Smarty should be compatible with PHP 5 unless you have a *very* old version of Smarty.

Thanks Mohart,

This is what hosting company emailed me with

"As this might affect your systems that are currently running on PHP 4, please check your systems as soon as possible."

This is why I am confused. Sad

Smarty should be fine, I have no idea what the rest of your code base looks like. It is your (or your developers) responsibility to be sure your code is compatible with PHP5.
